Good lols here laying out how Tesla in china is kind of screwed even with them permitting FSD there https://www.wired.com/story/elon-musk-cant-solve-teslas-china-crisis-with-his-desperate-asia-visit/ The kicker is how he blew off another authoritarian shithead (Modi) who probably would have benefitted the company more to open the India market vs trying to expand china where they are already falling way behind other manufacturers.

He runs his companies different, I know that SpaceX has employee cafeterias and free snacks in the break room and everything else you need to work 14 hours a day, 6-7 days a week moving fast and breaking things because you're fatigued out of your mind.

I mean sure it's obvious how elon isn't going to pay for it, it's the decision to do it anyway that's ... impressive. Usually this type of story comes up with someone that parks their van on site, then makes use of unlimited cooked food, game rooms, and nap rooms at the workplace, and everyone recognizes that's still unhinged behavior. Doing the same while still having to nuke the grocery store burritos you paid for is another level.
