Yooooo, I'm so excited about Martin getting drafted! I don't think she has the physical talent to stick around in the WNBA at the league's current size, but she's just tryhard as hell so I'm glad she's getting a shot at it.

There's a push to move some high profile Sky games to the United Center (where the Bulls and Blackhawks play) instead of the 10,000 seat Wintrust Arena they play at normally. I wonder at what point Wintrust stops being "DePaul's stadium that the Sky plays at" and becomes "The Sky's stadium that DePaul plays at"

I told myself last year I'd get into the WNBA and it didn't happen. This year, I'm absolutely jumping on the women's basketball bandwagon. It's preseason and I don't know who all is sitting out, but Clark looks pretty clearly like the best player on the floor for either side. She definitely got away with a push or two. Jacy Sheldon also looks impressive. Hopefully by the midseason, I'll know who some of these other players are.

I'm at my second West Des Moines bar of the night, and while the first one had a single TV streaming the game, the one I'm currently at has 6 TVs and 5 of them and the sound are all on the Fever/Wings preseason game while NBA and NHL playoff games are happening.
