I have been inspired to try my own smoothie experiments, and what I have discovered is that I really like tossing a handful of sliced cucumber in with everything else (my blender doesn't have one of those personal-sized cups, so maybe half a handful for one of those). It just adds a nice bit of refreshment. I guess this is why they do that cucumber water thing, too.
