I believe some NBA teams were using them for their players to use after a game to help relax their muscles. It's better than sitting in the ice tub after a game, i guess.

Sorry duder.  When my mom passed I was devastated. I sat at the funeral and stared at the floor and I secluded myself for weeks. A lot of people can get up and say eulogies even if they're crying and upset. I couldn't barely move. I wanted no part of anything for a long time. We all handle loss different, just do what you feel you need to do and don't feel any shame about it.
