Twenty Four posted:I've seen this movie at least a dozen times, couldn't say exactly how many, but I was flipping through the channel guide and The Jerk (1979) with Steve Martin happened to be on and I still maintain it is one of the funniest movies ever made. It's stupid humor but it just nails it, and Steve is perfect in it. The first time I saw "The Jerk" was on broadcast TV. As a result, they changed the dog's name from "Shithead" to "Stupid." This is one of those cases where I think the censored version is a lot funnier than the dirty one.

The house was clearly built by someone with more money than taste or sense, and apparently it was vacant for quite a while judging by the number of movies shot there. It was later sold, so the flow of movies was stopped.
