I like how people go on and on about what great a catalog of songs McCartney, Dylan and Jagger have but radio only plays the same 5 to 7 50-year-old hits.

FM DJ: Uncle Bob Dylan is 80 today!!! Man what a great catalog of music and fantastic musician who's won awards for decades. Anyway here's All Along The Watchtower for the 172301238123rd time. Remember when it was in that war movie? WOW!

That’s every artist over a certain age. Pet Shop Boys have released consistently brilliant music over the last 38 years but any time their “incredible career” is mentioned, you bet West End Girls is playing in the background.

mccartney's music for a while was kind of lame and would have been popular but forgettable pop rock if anyone else had written it (though he's since gotten better imho)

like The World Tonight. also ive seen this video a bunch a work and i timestamped the end because im p sure Linda is not into being slobbered all over for the video but doesnt want to ruin the shot

Paul McCartney is fine. Wings did absolutely nothing for me but he's still a Beatle and they were good. I'm not gonna poo poo on Black Francis cause his solo stuff wasn't as good as the Pixies
