plan change, gonna do the car tomorrow because someone got the jump on the day and mulched hard and it smells. tomorrow will be a bit cloudy and less windy which will be even better i went to a farmer's market and got good coffee, then had a walk. got some fun design work i'm doing for a friend that i can chill in the sun and noodle on later

went to the JCCC to see the stop motion masterpiece Junk Head, and nearly got blown off the highway coming home because of the insane winds blowing through. then when I was parking the biek in front of the house at near midnight, some randos pulled over and asked me where the CN Tower was and how long would it take to get there.

digging a hole for the internet pole. it's a 12'x2" (3600x50mm) metal antenna mast that's going to have a directv-sized WISP dish on it. might later add a high gain tv antenna and a ham radio discone also got as far as about 1100mm deep yesterday, but had to abort and cover it with a tarp when the weather switched from sprinkling to fully raining the main problem was just getting enough clearance on the sides of the skinny hole so that the double hole shovel thing had enough width for the handles to lift dirt out. can see the two notches at 4 oclock and 10 oclock on the hole to help with that going back today to get it down to 1250-1300mm, then toss in some spare pea gravel and finally concrete the pole in with 2-3 bags of quickset. hoping that the hard part is mostly done

went out to brooklyn to buy some motorcycle gear for the new bike i should be picking up next week. very hype to get back on a bike and do some light adv riding with my buds. then grabbed some pies and thighs. which i haven't had in forever. good lord that's some good chicken.
