i wonder if stav's studio is for a podcast or for like twitch streaming, because if it's for a podcast, then it's just weird to start another one after you quit the podcast that was making 6 figures a month, and i can't imagine his own podcast would be that much different. but if he's streaming, does he realize how much more work that would be for him? hasan streamed 357 days last year for over 3000 hours total, which is obviously on the extreme end of the spectrum but even then most twitch streamers usually stream a few hours a day like at least 2-3 days a week. i mean, considering how often you'd hear stav trying to end the podcast as soon as they hit the 60 minute mark.

Yeah lol I hadn’t even considered how cruel the twitch chat can be. to be fair I didnt ever see the cum town subreddit, but like hasan’s chat/hate watchers who just tweet awful poo poo to him/other twitch streamers who literally just stream themselves hate watching hasan’s stream/etc. must be so much worse than the cum town subreddit just repeating nick’s jokes or whatever … and judging by Stav’s thumbnails on his tik Toks or whatever and the YouTube crowd work stuff, if he started a podcast or streamed regularly doing stuff like that, and started doing more stuff with bigger comics/streamers like Bert kreischer, Ari Shaffir, andrew Santino, Chris distefano and Andrew schulz, who all had Stav on their respective podcasts in the last month he could easily become one of Redbar’s Fools (I’m honestly not trying to sneakily bring up Redbar, there’s a Redbar thread now and the joke isn’t funny anymore, but all of those guys get poo poo on by Mike David on like a weekly basis, and I was just imagining what would happen if Redbar made fun of Stav every now and then), like if Nick’s relatively tame fat jokes got Stav that worked up, Redbar would probably make Stav just log off of the internet for good.

I think Wizard Master is probably not far off, there was an episode of some pod that Nick was on years ago, either Jim and Sam or Bobby Kelly’s, where he said Stav took like 4 weeks off to go to Greece and they asked if he was still getting paid and Nick said yeah, and they were like why the gently caress would you do that (maybe it was legion of skanks, or real rear end podcast). So there could’ve been a money dispute for sure, and I don’t know if this means that Nick is the sole owner of the podcast or how that works, but under the copyright section on the podcast on iTunes it says ‘Mullen Media LLC’, and yeah I was under the impression Nick was earning more because yeah, he bought the equipment with what little money he had at the time, but more importantly, the podcast was his idea and it simply wouldn’t have happened if it weren’t for him convincing Stav to show up twice a week. Im sure Adam was happy to do it up until a point, and even after the internet started making GBS threads on him when Nick did, he was still probably more enthusiastic than Stav was.
