Kansas City and Kansas City should be forced to conjoin and then secede to Mexico, making the Chiefs the first Mexican NFL team while the Raiders should be forced to play on top of the Hoover Dam and regulate water flow back to northern CA.

I live in the transition part that is the most Midwestern. Western Kentucky is more southern (its own barbecue style!) And Eastern is definitely Appalachia. As a whole it averages out. For an interesting read that i don't agree with the conclusion of, check out How Kentucky Became Southern

Yeah there's no other way to help poverty except for "trickle-up" economics starting with literal children doing the work. Thank god Alabama lets em get married early too because how are you going to live a full life with no social programming and high mortality. Maybe I'd be interested in letting kids work in certain situations if there was any safety measures that let tweens cut sheet metal safely. P.s. i started working when I was thirteen and got a full time job when I turned fourteen. Absolutely nothing good came of this, and a poo poo ton of bad things

I left New York with a Parks pass in like 2012 with a plan to camp my way across the United States. Then that government shutdown happened and I had to hobo camp and dodge state park rangers and do odd jobs for gas and cigarettes until I ended up on a friends couch in Kentucky. I've been here since and got married and bought a house and learned a trade and didn't have to live in California, so the National Parks have always treated me right in the long run

Current event: I just learned about Yamibuy, a website just to buy east Asian grocery items and snacks and immediately dropped like eighty bucks: Highlights include hawthorne fruit leather, hickory flavored sunflower seeds, Korean fried chicken flavored pea crisps, and honey butter Lay's chips that taste like a Texas Roadhouse dinner roll. Also this cartoon on the back of a bag of barbecue corn snacks:  Which reminded me of this thread
