Correct me if I'm wrong, but couldn't the quite substantial NATO/KFOR contingents in Kosovo (and surrounding nations) lay the smackdown on Serbia pretty quickly if it was was seriously concluded that they're on the warpath? Or maybe the Serbs are counting on their fancy new Chinese air defense systems to keep that from happening. Balkans gonna balkan I guess.

How is Russia supposed to move in to defend though? Serbia is landlocked and, last I checked, literally surrounded by nations that have banned Russian planes from their airspace. Lavrov was supposed to visit Serbia back in like early June but the trip was cancelled because no one would let his plane through.
