 The littlest brother of the CyberFight Family is betting on themselves in a quite frankly insane way. No longer content with running 2AW Square or Shin-Kiba 1st RING in front of 120 people, Ken Ohka and his team have decided to run Ota Ward Gym with a capacity of four thousand (for reference, sister promotion TJPW ran here yesterday and pulled 1100). In order to achieve this they've brought in names from a bunch of other promotions including DDT, Stardom, BASARA, GLEAT, AJPW and probably more i'm forgetting. In addition, this will be only the second show in the company's history (after Bad Communication in February) to have English commentary. Last time it was Chris Brookes and Mr Haku in the booth, but Chris is on the card here so we may see a familiar face from the assorted English teams CyberFight employs. Commentary should be able to give you the minutiae of the performers, but the most important thing to remember about the promotion is right there in the name. Ganbare is all about trying your best in any situation and the core roster embody this. Stocisism is not the norm here, expect outpourings of emotion and a hell of a lot of shouting. More than that though, expect a well worked show that won't outstay it's welcome in front of a crowd that has had to restrain themselves for over two years. I'm excited too, I only started following GanPro last year so i've never heard the crowd at full volume either. The main event should be great, Imanari is more than solid when he'd not in DDT and Ohka is a fantastic hoss when he needs to be, although my most anticipated matches come from the middle of the card. I only know Stardom's Unagi Sayaka from clips, but she seems very cool and is taking on Joshi hoss Yuna Manase, who can lean on comedy a bit much but when focused (check out her matches against Saki Akai or the Otani Benefit show) she is a great immovable object. The other potential sleeper hit comes from New Japan's resident MMA badass Minoru Suzuki, who is taking on former Shooto featherweight champion Shuichiro Katsumara. Very much looking forward to someone who has as well developed a submission game as Suzuki, but who is a decade younger and twice as fast. Something I didn't think about, this will be the first time we'll hear a Japanese crowd sing Kaze ni Nare since March 2020 or so. Hopefully they remember the timing
