If we’re just doing covers of the James bond theme, then my favorite is the skatalites’ version

If we are just doing general “songs about spies”, it’s agent orange’s “I kill spies”

Yeah i'm an old guy and i remember when this came out burning it on a cd to listen to when i was driving back roads alone.

I like all the different takes on the theme song. I still have a soft spot for the bond ballads of the 70's and 80's but they have done really good in the Daniel Craig era. Some of the 90's themes are a blast how different they all are. From Tina Turner to Garbage to Gladys Knight.

Still love View to a Kill and For Your Eyes Only because i'm an 80's kid. But my choice for best Bond opening song, Nobody Does it Better. I mean, it's sappy but so fitting for a Bond song from that era.

When I first heard this song years ago I was thoroughly convinced it was from a Bond movie and it never was but honestly listen to this poo poo it 100% sounds like a bond intro like it would have been a great one for Skyfall

OHMSS is a great track, and the movie is strong as too. My personal favorite is Living Daylights song though, probably cause I watched that a million times as a kid. Thank you Al-Qaeda for helping James Bond.

why did they change the bacarat game to poker if they're still gonna have a character explain the game to the audience and tell s why it's a tense moment

I just don't like things that are different

Because bacarat is the dumbest loving casino game. It was probably invented specifically so inbred european royalty could have a game they could gamble money on that required zero skill, knowledge, or decision making. Bacarat is blackjack for morons! And somehow the super cool super spy is supposed to be really good at winning a game where the only thing he does is turn over cards?

James Bond explains the rules of bacarat to the Bond Girl: "So James, you're going to outwit the brilliant and deadly SPECTRE agent by beating him at heads or tails?"

Like, the poker game in Casino Royale was overlong and over-wrought to begin with. But at least poker is an interesting game! If it was loving bacarat I can't even imagine.

It's not a top-5 Bond song, but honorable mention to the theme song from Everything or Nothing, the 2003 game, just because it's a much better song than it needed to be.

Everything Or Nothing has no resdon being as good as it is. Heidi Klum and full-ham Willem Dafoe as villains? A level where you blowb the poo poo put of an ancient Egyptian pyramid for giggles? A cliff diving segment? It's everything (or nothing) Die Another Day should have been.

This is my favourite bond theme by far, and I love the motifs from it that are sprinkled throughout the movie.

The first twelve seconds or so with the brass section just being absolutely tortured is especially incredible.

I’m a fan of the rejected Phyllis Hyman theme for Never Say Never Again which absolutely cooks and is a million times better than the bland whatever they ended up using:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPlvMj1iroU

Edit: while I’m on the topic of rejected themes that are much better than the final product, the Shirley Bassey theme for Quantum of Solace would have been an all-timer and the fact that the producers opted for Jack White and Alicia Keys throwing bricks at a piano instead of this is truly baffling
