There's certainly still excellent dubs coming out but I do miss the stuff you'd get from Manga Entertainment or ADV or hell, even Central Park Media. They have their own vibe to them while stuff today is on the whole more in line with the original voice tracks but done in English. The movie was kinda, weird and also kinda relied on you playing a Sega Saturn interquel game which of course the US didn't get I'd probably be less harsh on the movie if it wasn't the only way Nadesico got into SRW anymore

Yeah Gainer has a dub, nothing wrong with it on that front from what I remember. Think it was one of the earlier roles I heard Kirk Thorton in.
