It takes time for animals to adjust to new environments, especially when they're already adults. Cats have a 333 rule: 3 days to stop freaking out, 3 weeks to settle in, 3 months to feel at home. Dogs probably adjust faster than that but as long as he's eating every day he's probably fine.

He'll come around with kind treatment. When my partner moved into my place, she brought her cats with her. Her boy cat hated me and wanted nothing to do with me for months. After a while, he was following me around like a puppy anywhere I'd go and couldn't go through a night without climbing on top of me and sleeping on my chest. I'd wake up to him just sitting there staring at me. Little guy adored me. It just took some time. Animals will learn you're a good person to them.

Just be around, be positive, have a bunch of treats on hand if he does come by you but don't stay in his space too much. Just provide a peaceful and relaxed and safe environment and he'll come around, it may take some time.

I can't believe that football man gets so much $$. I can't believe that lawyer charges that much $$. This isn't CEO poo poo where any dumbass off the street can do as good a job. These are things that not everyone can do unless they spend years training or have some natural talent. The same goes for fine art. Anyone can do it. But not everyone can create art that appeals to others.
