I had an MRI a couple weeks ago and they didn't ask me any questions aside from my name and DOB. It had been over a decade since my last one and thought maybe the tech had advanced a bunch, maybe? Before I layed down I asked if I should take everything out of my pockets. They said, "Uh... like your phone and keys? Probably." Didn't instill a lot of confidence!!

This is extraordinary. It has so many layers of mental illness wrapped in a veneer of civility. Just incredible stuff. It reminds me of some of the messages I'd get on the City of Heroes forum, which was not very tightly moderated but also somehow not a complete cesspool. I was a teen and would commission art of some of my characters and then post them in the dedicated threads. About half the time I'd get a PM with these screeds about how this person felt ownership over a specific style or even a single costume piece and be quite offended if someone else used them. One of the items was a little plush cat or panda that would sit on your shoulder and people were extremely territorial over them.
