Before I got banned from twitter I followed him for a bit. I often couldn't tell if he was being satirical or just having a lovely opinion. His podcast was pretty doomer to me so I didn't give it much of a chance. I also get him confused with GE Cafe somehow.

GBS is the only place anywhere on the internet that I post or interact. No social media, reddit, discord, nothing. I would be a complete ghost if not for this place. years ago at work when we used Skype™ for Business™ or whatever it was called, a coworker would send a bunch of us the wednesday frog image every wednesday. it was never funny, but skype was so lovely you couldn't just paste an image into a group chat -- it did not support that. you had to IM the image to each person individually, and they had to accept the transfer, and each week skype would add a new number in parentheses to the end of the filename, and it wasn't always a 1. so you'd get an IM that just said something like: person wants to send you a file: wednesday (1) (2) (1) (1) (3) (1) (1) (2) (1) (1).png and that was kinda funny

I actually remember fleeing a bit to pyf because yes, it was better than gbs 2.0. 1.0 sucked, 2.0 sucked, we seem to have a happy medium of no slurs please but not so much grammar pedantic or megathreads (although for real there are still too many forever on the 1st page huge megathreads in gbs, yuck).
