Hello PYF! We are currently looking for a few IKs for PYF! What are your favourite threads? Want to help out your favourite subforum? You may or may not have noticed that PYF is currently less moderated than it once was... Pastry of the Year, JacquelineDempsey, and I are all no longer PYF mods. That leaves The Saddest Rhino and Philippe as the current active mods, with HelloIAmYourHeart jumping from IK to new mod and Roth joining as IK for the new Sagas thread. PYF is a pretty fast-moving and busy forum so this won't be enough moderation support. We need a few more IKs, and potential new mods! Ideally, I'd like to see a some new people get a chance to try out the IK role to see how they like it, before throwing anyone into the deep end with a blue star. So please, PYF suggestions for mods and IKs in this thread! Or volunteer. Or PM me. Or another PYF mod: The Saddest Rhino or Philippe. Or your favorite admin. Thanks!

Yeah I think it's cool to give more people a chance to do it, even if it's just being an IK it probably helps in demystifying the behind the scenes stuff.

after much consideration, we have chosen three new IKs on the basis of the time-honoured tradition of "first-come-first-serve"! for anyone still following this thread, BattyKiara, some plague rats, and RFC2324 are now IKs for PYF and can push buttons for people, woohoo! i hope that more people getting to take a spin at IK buttons normalizes the process a bit and makes it less mysterious. after a bit we can rotate people in and out depending if they want to stick around longer or not. i'll reopen this thread for a bit if people wish to give congrats or condolences, haha
