I am going to close this thread and ask that it remain closed. The reason is that 1) numerous CC posters have expressed that they have real issues with generative art and the ethical issues surrounding it 2) this thread hasn't had an actual image posted since January and 3) CC is a place for artists and creators to post their creations. It's not a place to debate the ethics of generative art; there are plenty of spaces for that. I suspect that this thread's continued existence will promote a type of discussion that goes beyond the scope of this subforum. The reason I am not going to send this thread to the comedy dump is because I think it's helpful for context, since I'll be closing any AI threads that pop up for the time being. Maybe it will be possible to revisit this topic when the ethical landscape of generative content has changed. Feel free to PM me with any questions or concerns.
