For the most part I'm happy with the subforum. I would like it if the general vibe was more jokey. I'd also like it if some people took wrestling - which is ridiculous - a little less seriously. However that's not really anything admins or mods can really do anything about

The one problem I really see is that if someone disagrees with the general consensus there's a lot of jumping on them and it comes off as really hostile and off-putting. The first thing that comes to mind is when Livid Liquid would make some points about problems in AEW's story telling and people would basically gang up on her. It really sucked because it seems to have driven her off and she did make some excellent points at times that I wouldn't have thought of. I will admit she's one of the people who needs to take things a little less seriously though, but that's not a reason to gang up on her.

And I'm using Livid Liquid as an example but it has happened to other people.

History Comes Inside! posted:

Getting chaos dunked into oblivion for posting takes like “the comedy rap act with two black dudes, one of whom is openly gay, is exactly like Donald Trump” isn’t being ganged up on, it’s what happens when you post spectacularly dumbass takes.

I'm not talking about her sometimes quite weird takes and I agree that take was exceptionally something else. I'm talking about when she'd say things like it was hard to care about new people getting pushed because it's common to get a push and disappear for a while.

Yeah, that was really well done and what I'd like to see more of

I've been calling it the Fed since I got into wrestling because I thought that was its actual nickname from how often people used it. Didn't know some saw it as derisive.
