Just one note for the OP More than racist, the books and films are SEXIST Stupidly so. Despite this I read all the books, spy stuff is fun. I found the films to be ludicrous until Craig classed it up with some realism Not here to poo poo up your fun thread, just astounded that racism mentioned in the OP and not sexism

In terms of pre-credits scenes, I enjoyed Tomorrow Never Dies for its sheer bad-assery. Bond hijacks a fighter plane to escape an arms bazaar moments before it is destroyed. He then uses the ejector seat to launch the bad guy in the back seat who is garrotting him into the enemy fighter plane that is pursuing him. In terms of stylishness, I liked Daniel Craig fixing his cuff link after tearing the back off a train with a digger and leaping aboard.
