RF5 wasn't a soulless game but I wouldn't call it a soulful game either. It's the first Rune Factory post-company resurrection so I forgive them for playing it safe, though.

It wasn't in space but the first Rune Factory was actually a duology with a Sci fi Harvest Moon spinoff (Innocent Life), which has been basically been completely forgotten by history.

Maybe keep in mind the Steam refund time limit but the insane tutorialization does let up eventually.
