I genuinely had an awful weekend. I know a bunch of you are probably gonna be loving shitheads and use this as an opportunity to dunk on me for allegedly being bitter and whiny about Mox losing the title, but trust me. That's not what it's about and it's way more complicated than that. But goddamn, that was a good show but if the last three years were, as Shard put it, AEW being a cosmic apology to me, then tonight was certainly not a 100% reversal, nowhere even close, but it's the coldest an AEW show has ever left me after a genuinely upsetting, frustrating, discouraging and taxing weekend, which is a shame because AEW usually brings me joy. FFS, I even fantasy booked a scenario in the thread after Mox squashed Punk that involved Mox losing the title AND, in a potential shot at getting the title back, eating his first clean pin TO Hangman, who I don't really care about, but it made sense, and if somebody was gonna be the guy to be the first person to beat Mox clean, it being Hangman would make sense and be cool for the Hanger fans! Instead it's to an old, bitter rear end in a top hat who can do nothing but bitch even when he's on the top of the world. It rubs me the wrong way. CM Punk is a loving rear end in a top hat, like legitimately a loving rear end in a top hat (I'm referring to the scrum, by the way) and I really am not a fan of MJF, and I've never cared about Hangman, who's the person I fully expect to be the one to conquer MJF after MJF beats Punk. It's gonna be a long fall/winter for me, I think. Might take some time off posting because I know no matter what I say about the product people are just gonna say it's because I'm Big Mad about Mox losing, when that's not what it is. And I have better things to do than deal with that poo poo. I'm gonna handle my toxx within the next few days, but other than that IDK if I'm gonna post much for a bit. Hope everyone continues to enjoy AEW. I know I will even though I'm cold on the world title scene as I anticipate it shaking out for the foreseeable future.

I'm so glad AEW is the home of tag team wrestling. Trios and tag title matches were excellent pro wrestling. This show was MUCH better than Double or Nothing and I'm glad it was. DoN had me frustrated. Something like 5 or 6 straight matches in the midcard with the heels going over. Punk over Hangman which bummed me out. Scorpio Sky wrestled. It had good matches, but I remember feeling weirded out. None of that here. Just excellent wrestling featuring wrestlers I like to see. Only match I mis-predicted was Hobbs beating Ricky and ya know what? That loving ruled. Powerhouse Hobbs rules. He should be thrown at Wardlow. Punk on this scrum. Jesus. He's right though and I've thought this for years.

OMG being in the room during the Acclaimed match was magic. What is it and Chicago PPVs and Tag Champ matches? We had Cowboy Bebop v the Bucks, Lucha Bros v the Bucks, and now SIOG v The Acclaimed.  Brain too jumbled, body tired, so I'll have better thoughts later. However... at this point can we just give AEW the benefit of the doubt with booking towards the PPVs? I may not have liked every result, but the stories were solid.

Thank you all for the kind words, btw. I know I come off as very....bipolar is inappropriate because that's not what it is (at least not from a diagnosed standpoint) but like, I dunno, I go through emotional whiplash sometimes? I think that's fair to say. I tell people to go gently caress themselves, whatever. Sometimes I can apparently be divisive. Some people have literally said that they don't think that I'm actually all that nice and that that's just a gimmick or whatever and I'm just an rear end in a top hat. That's cool I guess. If people think I'm an rear end in a top hat I suppose it's whatever (though that is upsetting to me!) but like, when I say nice things to people and I say I wanna get along with people, I genuinely mean it. I like this place, even if some of you folks drive me up a loving wall sometimes or I don't love certain posting, or perhaps more accurately, certain posting styles. So if I do take some time off, it's not because I hate anybody or anything. I'm just tired and I don't know what to do, and I don't WANNA just lash out, so...perhaps bye for now I guess unless things get better, either for me or for what I'd like to see out of the product or both.
