I played the game prior to release for review, and I really liked it. Most of the bugs were just amusing (although there were side activities I couldn't finish because not all the missions activated for me), I really enjoyed the writing after a stumbling start, and the gameplay was definitely retro but to me in a good way. I expected absolutely nothing going in and was very pleasantly surprised. But I would wait for bug fixes before buying, probably.
