I've never seen a dog had had the phrase "savoir faire" pop into my head until just now. And then I realized I didn't know what it meant, and it probably doesn't apply, but if any dog was a spoken dog that knew exactly what to say in any situation, I bet it'd be Ladybird.

This is Arya. 6 yrs old(?) She was a feral rescue found 5 years ago in an abandoned burned out trailer with a litter of kittens and a 22LR wound in her side. She's the loudest most talkative cat I've ever taken care of, and its not a cute sweet meow, it's a constant too many cigarettes throated grumbling and yelling in the dark to make sure we know where she is in my house. She can be found sleeping in sinks and the bathtub, and loves jumping up and riding on my shoulders like a pirate's parrot when I walk through the house.  She's both the toughest cat and the sweetest cat I've ever had the pleasure of taking care of. I love this little turd

Such adorable friends. Kitteh absolutely hones the noises she makes to make them as pathetic as possible. And her purrs remind me of the ambient operation music in the original X-Com.
