GameDay going to Boone rules even harder when you see the only top 25 matchup next week (as of this week’s rankings) is…A&M hosting Miami.

Glad Sparty had a normal game against a terrible opponent. Though it seems like even more key defensive players got hurt. Payton Thorne looks like he’s regressed which is concerning. He’s been sailing balls and making bad decisions in each of the first two games, which is very unlike his play last year. Next week is the first real test at Washington.

TAMU spending infinite money on their coach and recruits only to never win the west is hilarious.

Meanwhile Arky hired an OL coach and hit the portal hard and are probably going to challenge for the West this year.

Lol, lmao, etc.

Challenge for second?

Like obviously recruiting territory is an important factor. But you can succeed without being in a recruiting hotbed. Ffs Utah has two teams in the top 15.

BYU has extremely specific features that both help them and cap them.

California proximity helps and obviously they’re a much better run program than Nebraska. I agree that location isn’t everything with recruiting, just saying that BYU in particular would have the same success anywhere as long as they remained THE Mormon school.
