i try not to think about it but when i do, it doesn't depress me. the world right now is so unfair, cruel and boring and there doesn't seem to be any chance at all of that being allowed to improve without a serious collapse. maybe something good will come out of that, maybe it at least won't be so loving boring. it's easy to sit here and ignore all the pain and devestation that would be involved in such a collapse so i do

I think I've got a pretty good shot at living forever as our medical technology develops and enhances the general quality of our lives and aged care, and I'm excited to do so. The world might have lovely things in it, but I truly believe life is worth living and there's always something new to see, do and experience. This whole forum gets super doomer-y a lot and sometimes that's exhausting. Good things happen. Better things are possible.
