I mean, it's not that. The article is literally an Overwatch dev talking about how they portray Symmetra's autism and it's Overwatch, so it's bad at it because they probably didn't talk to any autistic people. They have the diversity chart, you see.

I feel like the Steam Deck is easier to buy, but it would take longer for you to actually get it after that, whereas if you buy a PS5 in the small window it's available, you'd just have a normal shipping time to wait through. So a land of contrasts.

It honestly made no meaningful changes to the gameplay, it just locked away a bunch of heroes, changed the monetization of the game, made it free to play, and added a 2 at the end in order to trick people into thinking it's a sequel. Blizzard needed to rebrand Overwatch because the game was dead. So the big new feature in Overwatch 2 is that it's going to have a PvE mode ....but not until next summer at the earliest.
