I never know how much stock to put into SOS because yeah it makes sense that teams with bad records have high SOS, they keep losing so their opponents have more combined wins! And of course, the inverse is true for teams with good records. Has anybody ever looked at end-of-season standings in comparison to SOS? E: the funny thing about Detroit is that some of the excited chatter going into this season was fuels by a belief that they would have a relatively soft schedule this year. Now people are saying they have the hardest schedule in the league this year and you all wonder why us Lions fans are so beat down. It never ever ends. Parity is when your team hasn't won a title since Eisenhower was in office I remember a couple of copium articles when WCF was nearing death that the league should put its thumb on the scale a bit to help get one of its longest-serving owners a shot at a Super Bowl, but alas. Not like he deserved it.
