This is part of it of course, but I feel like he'd just be viewed as a normal sort of playable corner that kinda sucks if he never talked or posted on social media.

He gives fuel to the fire of disliking him I guess.

Yeah, every team needs a bunch of CB's, and he's.... fine.

But you kinda have to have diva mindset to play WR / DB which is why they're such great drama buckets.

Thing is, yes on average you're giving up a few yards of field position, however if you have a weaker offense, are down multiple scores or are facing a team who makes more mistakes in special teams, you should often take that risk. A single return to the 35-40 is more EPA gained then a half dozen drives starting at the 20 instead of the 25.

There's no way the Browns are trading Chubb.

They could easily trade Hunt, but why would they trade Chubb? They made the most all-in move imaginable. There's no chance they're getting rid of him before they even see what Rapist can do.

Right, okay yeah.

Problem solved, glad we all cracked this case.

The most stunning outcome of this whole Ye saga is finding out that Antonio Brown is actually the president of Donda Sports, and like actual high profile athletes were part of it.

What the gently caress.

Chubb's only 26, so I don't get it. This isn't doing a solid for a 32 year old Von Miller, this is a guy the Broncos drafted in 2018.

They haven't re-signed him yet, o presumably, anybody trading for him has to pony up significant compensation and give him a big ol' extension.

Maybe they mean home losses?

Because they lost 4 in a row the year before they got Brady. There was a bye in the middle there, so maybe that's not consecutive at which point you have to go to the year before where they lost 3 in a row, beat the Browns in OT then immediately lost 4 in a row... then won 2 before losing another 4 in a row

Well that trade went from oh interesting to ewww pretty quick

I mean they need to keep up with the Bills and Eagles, so yeah, they can afford to spend a late day 2 pick on a WR.

Now that WR is definitely... a choice.

c'mon Chiefs, we had this Nelson Aghalor right here, could've saved you a pick!

Moore seems fine, it's just rookie receivers outside of some crazy outliers the last few years typically needed years to adjust to the NFL, it shouldn't be shocking that a rookie WR still kinda sucks

The Saints would have to create over $20m in more cap space to move Thomas.

His Cap hits are amazing

2022 - $1m base, $12m prorated signing bonus, $13m cap hit
2023 - $16m base, $12m prorated SB, $1m other stuff, $28m cap hit
2024 - $19m base, $8m prorated SB, $1m other stuff, $28m cap hit
2025 - Void year, $3m prorated SB
2026 - Void year, $3m prorated SB

So if they move him this week $38m dead cap ($26m in prorated SB's moving to this year's cap)
Next year, they can move him and have only a $25m dead cap hit vs $28m to keep him :v:

2023 cap hits over $10m

$28m Michael Thomas
$26m Cameron Jordan
$22m Marshon Lattimore
$21m Ryan Ramczyk
$18m Andrus Peat
$16m Alvin Kamara
$16m Jameis Winston
$14m Taysom Hill
$13m Eric McCoy
$13m Demario Davis
$10m David Onyemata (Void year)
$5m in dead cap already.

$202m of a probably $215m ish cap next year.

The only one of them they can move and save even $4m on is Winston

Let's play who wins the NFC South

Falcons 3-4
Buccaneers 3-5
Panthers 2-5
Saints 2-5

Remaining divisional games:

W8: Panthers @ Falcons
W10: Falcons @ Panthers (TNF)
W13: Saints @ Bucccaneers (MNF)
W15: Falcons @ Saints (Both teams off Bye!)
W17: Panthers @ Buccaneers
W18: Buccaneers @ Falcons
W18: Panthers @ Saints

Other games

Falcons: Chargers, Bears, @Football Team, Steelers, @Ravens, Cardinals
Buccaneers: Rams, Seahawks, @Browns, @49ers, Bengals, @Cardinals
Panthers: @Falcons, @Bengals, @Ravens, Broncos, @Seahawks, Steelers, Lions
Saints: Raiders, Ravens, @Steelers, Rams, @49ers, @Browns, @Eagles

Is it just me or do the Falcons have by far the easiest road ahead? Chargers are hella injured, @Ravens is probably a loss, but the rest of those are all winnable games. Road team TNF is rough, but Atlanta to Carolina is a short trip, so that's less bad. Bucs and Panthers byes are both before hard road games, so that's not great.

Only goes back to 2016 but got me thinking of who would have been the top at this. Gotta be prime culpepper to moss, right?

Daunte was just firing artillery back then.

2nd clip here is thrown from the 12 and lands at the ~33 or so.

God, the one at 2:45 where he just throws it horizontally 40 drat yards over the middle to Moss.

The one at 4:55 he throws it from the 50 to the opposite hash's endzone. So that's probably the longest actually in air.

Also it's a year later and a late 3 is significantly less valuable then a late 2.

That said it's fine as a rental, and if you can extend him great.
