I fell into a bunch of simulator games last month, and haven't stopped playing them. Construction Simulator is more fun than expected. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIM7HCbU468 I've also found Thief Simulator to be extremely fun. Absolutely must-buy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAfje1Zmu9E Lawn Mowing Simulator, on the other hand, is very very slow and kinda boring. It's just driving a mower in circles around huge lawns in a slow pace, nothing else. Profits are low, upgrades are expensive.

First person sims always feel weird to me. Unless it's an airplane or something, I would prefer a top down perspective for managing the whatever. First person doesn't make me feel immersed as much as it makes me feel like there will be a spooky ghost or a charging demon behind me when I turn around (and everything up to that point was just there to lull me into a false sense of security).

I remember in college I was earning cash working at a grocery store, unloading trucks and organizing pallets in the backroom, then I’d go home and unwind by playing Shenmue (which I bought with money I earned at the job) where I’d help my character work his job, moving pallets, to earn money… that I used to play… video games. But in game I got to use a forklift, instead of a hand jack, so it was totally different.

I got gas station sim in the monthly humble bundle I kept waiting for things to unlock like carpets or actually good decor or anything that makes the employees feel more alive I used wemod to just cheat my way through and when i finished it, i was shocked how sparse the content actually is, and how unfinished the game feels 2/10, it was 1 of 6 games i got for 12 bux
