Of course the comment section is as ethereal as the repost. Once it leaves your feed and nobody bothers to resurface it, it won't matter. What we really need is an index of these existing "threads", collected together in categories of interests. Every time someone posts it could "bump" the thread back to a main feed. Imagine something like the Roman "forums", but on the internet.
