lol all russia's penny packet war has managed to do is awaken a sleeping enemy and fill him with a terrible resolve. ukraine is just going to keep hammering at the occupied territories with its 3+:1 advantage because russia is incapable of actually fielding an appropriate sized force now that ukraine has fully mobilized

The SMO thing does limit them using the conscripts from yearly call ups but they also need some type of force to guard their other borders (they literally can’t throw their entire army at Ukraine.) unless they're going to throw all 300k is an massive armored thrust to encircle and destroy the UFA in the donbas, they're going to need way more men
