I love you with all my heart! And every day without you I see myself sinking Into a bog of pure tastelessness. Breakfast, lunch, dinner It all seems so hollow Without the ecstatic punctuation of your presence. Birthdays, parties, work luncheons I simply can't be bothered without you as my escort. You know that it is only you I love. The cupcake is beautiful but empty With nothing substantive to offer. Ice cream is a delight, a sweetheart But always leaves me cold. Gulab jamun speaks honeyed words But can't compare to your love. Even pie, decadent as it is, Could never circumnavigate my heart.
