So does this mean the pundits can finally let go of "swing state Florida?"

That died in 2000. We’re just taking it off life support.

As Mr Nice noted, FL Dems are in shambles and no sign of that changing. The Fried / Crist primary fight exposed just how big the gulf is between wings of the party. Dade looks like it flipped GOP which I doubt anyone in Dem Leadership ever thought could happen.

Is WI still in Blue Mirage stage? I was expecting it to be much closer then Dem+2 with 43% in per NYT.

Let's be real here, how is your best candidate Crist

The Dems have spent the last 20 years being hollowed out and never really consolidated behind a unified message after Chiles died in office. That was like 1996ish. JEB! won in 98 and it’s been a string of wins for the GOP pretty much ever since.

Coupled with trends of GOP voters moving into retirement mega communities like The Villages, Latino voters not being a unified voting bloc, and the last guy they ran being under investigation / indictment for bribery while campaigning.

So is it pretty much definite for a GOP house? I have only tried to focus on my very local election stuff so far, not really wanting to get into the news cycle at all on this crap.

Per the NYT the house currently stands at 172 Dem / 197 GOP with 218 being the magic number for control. Forecast is likely ending up at about 211 Dem / 224 GOP, giving GOP a 7 seat majority. Roughly almost exactly reversed of what it is now.

So yes, but not as big a sea change as predicted. However Kevin McCarthy is likely the next Speaker of the House barring something radical like making Trump speaker.

FL and TX redistricting will likely hand the GOP the house.

That Walker is doing as well as he is considering... well... literally everything about him, is a damning indictment of Georgia.

10 years ago Walker would have won in a landslide.

Chuds co-opt non chud stuff all the time, so not too weird. Trump still unironically plays Fortunate Son at rallies. How many chuds didn’t know Rage Against the Machine was political?

you mean Paul Ryan's favorite band has songs against everything he stood for?
