Were the USA plays too simple or based on raw athleticism? The Dutch didn’t run as hard and were marking and pressing the American team. Dutch team made quite few nice looking passes

I’m sure once USMNT starts playing against the South American teams and Central American teams, the skill cap can go higher. On the bright side, if US wanted to, they can have their national team train a year before the world cup starts whereas other countries can’t afford to pull their players from the big European leagues.
