Obviously it was gameplan, cuz he'd have no problems circling around in the middle of the mat and keep some more distance. It seemed like he was thinking he could get an edge in counters, but cage was where Pereira was doing the most damage.

At least I watched my boy DUSTIN absolutely finish a war and put chandler away like a loving stud. I'm gonna rewatch that tomorrow for sure. Izzy gets another chapter in his anime manga to rebuild and then his OP theme music begins starts playing during the rematch in tbh final round

I don't find it that surprising. He had outlasted Izzy on the ground and had hurt him on the feet. So it was a scenario he was familiar with more than the 5 MMA fights implies, and also against someone he'd already survived and came back to beat on the feet.
