Elon Musk seems hell bent on destroying whatever value (yeah, whatever) there was in Twitter and is rapidly cutting so many staff that it seems Twitter will probably have some kind of catastrophic failure in the near future. What other horrible fascist enabling social media platform will replace it so that the news media can breathlessly report on "things going viral"? Tumblr destroyed itself by deplatforming adult content, Meta under Zuckerberg is apparently just lighting dollar bills on fire to recreate second life, but with advertising, Is this something awfuls moment? Could ... no who am I kidding. Most of the other social media sites are sort of geared around video (youtube, instagram, tiktok, snapchat) is there a place for the tweeted word anymore?

I care about Musk because his companies are an overvalued mess that are linked with each other in exactly the way you typically don't link companies so that they don't share all the same idiosyncratic industry risk, and I want to buy puts at the right time - I probably won't because it's hard to time the market, but I think about it sometimes.
