The Discovery Zone of my childhood was converted into a Panera Bread 20-something years ago.

It’s been a Panera Bread twice as long as it was a Discovery Zone. Yet every time I drive by that drat shopping plaza my brain is still surprised not to see the DZ logo for a split second.
