Practical was the first consideration for our daily drivers. Had to fit a rear facing car seat behind an occupied passenger seat. Had to get okay enough fuel economy. I happen to think our runabout is also fun (Focus ST). Having kids realigns priorities. When both of my kids are rear facing I'd love to get something more wild, but we'll see.
