The problem with whisk(e)y is that whatever it tastes of (if anything) is usually covered up by the fact that it mostly tastes of burning.

Another goon reporting in with The Cold That’s Going Around. Started with a bit of a cough and has now progressed to feeling like a balloon is being inflated in my sinuses. Eyes won’t stop streaming and sneezing fits abound. The chesty cough is still pretty rough but manageable. Father in law had it a while ago and hasn’t managed to shift his cough yet after about 2 months, hoping I can get over this a bit quicker than that tbh.
