They begin again

I hope Tom stays as a Buc until he retires and recruits some players for next season tbh. Couldn’t blame him for trying out something new though. He made the Bucs the best they’ve been in a long rear end time (ever?) and it’s been awesome even with this weird as gently caress frustrating season. If Jensen didn’t get that injury the team would be having a way better season. That one still hurts.

Yeah I think its this. Buccs window is kind of closed, a lot of guys who signed mercenary deals to chase a ring are either over the hill or good to move on.

There's still awesome talent at skill positions and with a decent draft and a couple signings in a weak nfc they could make some moves but I dunno. Teams kinda got that feel of one on the backslide.

Yeah far more likely is Brady going to a new team and oh, that team needs some depth? Welp I know who they can trade for that the Buccaneers are really interested in moving.

It's a bold statement, but I must agree that brady would be a good backup to Brock purdy

He'll be a good backup to Jimmy G, who will be backing up Brock Purdy.

I hope Brady is a 9er, gets hurt, and the 9ers have to turn to rookie Stetson Bennett who sets some weird record before fading into history like every other 9er QB with that story.

Stetson Bennett is a very 49er name.

Not the team, the actual 49ers.

What's more likely?

Jaguars overtake the Titans for the division OR Lions make the Wild card?

Titans are 2 up, but Jags vs Titans in week 18, they both host the Cowboys, and play the Texans. Jaguars play @ Jets, Titans @ Chargers, and Jaguars win the tiebreaker if they win week 18.

Or

Lions are 6-7 but their remaining schedule:

@Jets
@Panthers
Bears
@Packers

They have tiebreakers over both the Giants and Football Team which kinda don't matter 'cuz of the tie.

Spots 6 & 7 in the NFC are:

7-5-1 Football Team : Giants, @49ers, Browns, Cowboys
7-5-1 Giants : @Football Team, @Vikings, Colts, @Eagles
7-6 Seahawks : 49ers, @Chiefs, Jets, Rams

Can the Lions overcome that deficit against 2 of these teams?

the NFC still has more wins than the AFC. 104 to 101. unless i hosed up simple addition (possible)

just an interesting narrative with the idea being that the NFC had no good qbs. which I actually kind of agreed with but wanted to see the results so I've been tracking it

I can easily see the lions finishing 9-7 and both Washington and NY finishing 8-8-1. It’s a question of how well Seattle closes it out imo

If White can't play QB, do they play Flacco before they play Wilson?
