I don't even mind the personality switch but yeah "true sensui" is a boring character and the sacred energy armor is probably the most bullshit thing in the entire series, even moreso than Yusuke coming back to life shortly thereafter. The chapter black arc is overall pretty good, but the ending definitely feels like a fumble.

Jon Irenicus posted:they stopped airing the Chapter Black saga on TV for some reason and just started over from the beginning so when I was a teenager I downloaded the rest of the series to finish watching it. the last arc was weird They moved it to 5am Saturday morning.
