Hell yeah, I remember accessing my first "internet" porn in 1992. Primitive by today's standards, but it was much better than the overly compressed images from the local BBS or cga quality porn I found on Compuserve.

Almost everything about the early 00's internet experience, up through maybe 2004. It wasn't quite the "wild west" experience of the late 90's but also was pre-social media dominance, pre-smart phones, pre-everyone being terminally online. The idea of socializing online was still relatively new and fresh. Algorithms hadn't warped everyone's mind and placed everyone into echo chambers.

I went to Rutgers in 2003 and the LAN filesharing system was incredible. Just instant everything compared to being like 56k two years prior. Obama's first election was fun. I registered that day too so it has a special place in my heart. I like game day threads in TFF when my team is doing well (or even if they suck), I used to go on whenever I didn't have plans doing something else during college and  on crazy games that went into over time or whatever. And getting a laptop to search for "whatever I want" at the age of 18 was pretty sweet. I was never interested in magazine porn so it was my first experience with it. I guess I was a late bloomer.
