All the stories I've read of Michael Caine's involvement and professionalism while filming The Muppet Christmas Carol can melt even the coldest and miserly Scrooge hearts. I had a free preview of Showtime recently and this was on. I hadn't seen it since I was a kid so I was expecting it to be not as good as I remembered (rose-colored glasses and all of that), but it was actually quite endearing and sweet. A fun little movie that left a smile on my face by the end.

good news for muppets christmas carol fans. disney plus have put up the version with the often cut love song ballad (it was on the original VHS when i was a kid). this is good because it makes that whole scene make much more sense instead of it just cutting to her being like, "lol bye". it's also a part of the ending song medley thing so it was weird hearing it in there without the actual song being in the movie.
