I loving love street food videos. This is a great thread.

A couple years ago, I spent a couple weeks just searching "<country name> pancake" because I love crepe and had just heard about jianbing. Just watching all the different kinds of jianbing on the spinning cooker is awesome.

Ok, if you're American, it's just fry bread, but the usual way to get it is to deep fry a bunch of bread, THEN brush it with butter, THEN cover it with a really garlicky sour cream, with shredded cheese on top of that. Absolutely delicious. I have only seen it in the US at a Hungarian cultural event, which I think is insane. Someone is going to get rich franchising it to festivals someday.

Back to Turkey we have gozleme. It's kind of like a spinach calzone.

I've seen it made in person and you just watch a person, who makes it look easy, roll out an impossibly large and thin sheet of dough, fill it with spinach, and fold it into a little packet they put on the grill like in the video. Really fun to watch being made.
