This may be the next soup in a bread bowl debate, but this is the correct usage of "cheese sticks," literally chunks of cheese in a vaguely stick-like shape, potentially coated in bread crumbs or batter but not definably bread

This is cheese bread, bread with cheese baked directly into it


So in summary, cheese stick = long skinny piece of mostly cheese, cheesy bread = bread with cheese on, cheese bread = bread with cheese in. I will brook no debate on this (I might brook a little debate on this)
