drat, just read that Thick44 of the Neebs gaming crew died last week. One day just collapsed and found out he had brain cancer, spiraled over 2 years. Neebs does a lot of Lets Plays with the 5 man group. Tainted Grail out today. It is in early access as games are these days, supposedly made by 1 guy, or was, not sure if still. I took the plunge and snagged it. It is very much a non Bethesda Elder Scrolls game. Combat feels fine, haven't really tried magic much though yet. Spells are equipable, so its not like you get a ton at hand to use, though you can dual hand 2 at a time.  There is a wheel, but thats just to access your loadouts or 3 slotted consumables. I would say that if you like Skyrim then its probably enjoyable. It is pretty dark overall, but looks good.  There doesnt seem to be an option for gamma yet, or to change keybinds away from WASD. Though he has said soon in the multiple threads asking. Stuff like archery and athletics are leveled by using those skills. So running and jumping like a madman is mandatory. , is there a Homeworld thread? I’m on a phone tonight, and GOG just sent me a code for like every Homeworld product like 97% off. I knew it was a decent game through other folks, and the discount made all the games/DLC <$5. I’ve watched a couple of YouTube videos, and I’m very happy with my purchase, but there’s no way to “Search” the forums on AwfulApp for iOS. I hope to download it when I get home, and will start with the Homeworld 1 remaster after downloading. I want to try them all un-modded at first, but are there any “must have” mods for like graphics or bug fixes/gameplay i should look up to start?

The news and updates section at the top of Steams Library shelves has disappeared. A quick search leads me to a reddit thread from 3 years ago that all of a sudden has people posting the same thing in the past day. None of its suggestions of deleting cache has brought it back though.

Also the learn by reading, most recipes arent unlocked through perk points now, but putting points into shotguns will generate more shotgun books in loot and you need x/100 of those books to progress through the crafting chain.
