In only the most tangentially related news, former mma fighter Dillon Danis had backed out of his fight with KSI, apparently because he couldn’t make weight and hadn’t prepared. That may just be the last we hear of him tbh.

Allegedly Dana’s not so much the day-to-day negotiator and big boss anymore, that role has been filled by Hunter Campbell, their Chief Business Officer who also writes the contracts due to his legal background. Hints of this came about from his comments about Shane Burgos’ contract lapsing. A very divisive character in his own right because he’s not only a hardass, but a legally wise hardass with regards to actually paying human beings to fight. Read: this is not praise, apparently he’s a ginormous prick as well of course. Dana’s just the figurehead who loves to be the target and start poo poo with people. Even if Dana takes less of a public stance on things after this, poo poo’s still gonna suck.

It’s not an excuse but I totally can see it being a reason. It’s very scary.

I've heard from a few people in the past he was extremely erratic in his behaviour for a little while now. Including prone to lashing out physically either smashing poo poo or trying to fight his training partners. Even once I heard he took a swing at a fan at a casino once.
