I've actually never seen wolf's rain, but have heard it get recommended a lot. Will be interested to see if I think it lives up to the hype, or is coasting off of people's nostalgia.

For 1993 I'd go with Ocean Waves, sounds potentially interesting. For 2003 I'd personally pick Tokyo Godfathers,,the best Christmas anime. Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem would also be an interesting pick. For 2013 I'd go with either the popular Patema Imverted or the relatively unknown Yoyo and Nene, the Little Witch Sisters.
