It's worth pointing out that the deku nuts are great at stunning stalfos and the poes both. That's why the stalfos drop them so regularly.

I'm so used to hearing the 1.0 Fire Temple music that I don't recognize what's playing in the Fire Temple whatsoever. It sounds like music from a later dungeon just chopped up.

While watching the Dark Link fight, I had to wonder if the oft-overlooked deku nuts do anything. They seem like they'd be the ideal "gently caress you, I get to hit you now" button against him.

I really appreciate that Morrie and Silver both were so unnerved by the Shadow Temple that it was messing with their puzzle senses.

So, fun fact! The rusted switch that you have to hookshot over to in the main room? You CAN make it over to that ledge with just hovers. You have to get a running start toward the ledge with the switch, and roll at the last second before you leave the first platform to get extra distance. But it gives you just enough air time that you can just barely make it to the ledge. I've been chipping away at an Ocarina Randomizer seed the past couple nights, and have had to make four different trips into the Spirit Temple for various checks. One of them was to activate that switch for a shortcut before I got lullaby to make the chest appear.

I can't imagine the level of self-control needed to not rush through the adult trading sequence as soon as you could. You have a stronger will than I!

Fun fact! That bean sprout Silver and Morrie kept asking about is a fantastic shortcut up part of Death Mountain for the final leg of the eye drops run. It drops you off at the top of the next hill, up where the hidden cow grotto is.
